What is Bile?

Bile is a liquid made up of various components produced in the liver. Bile plays a role in the elimination of various waste materials from our body and also plays a role in indigestion. The liver is like an incredible chemical laboratory of our body. One of the most important auxiliary elements while performing this task is producing bile and regulating the proportions of the components that make up the content of bile. In a conclusion, bile is produced by the liver and is an indispensable component of the body.

What is the Gallbladder?

It is useful to understand the gallbladder and bile ducts together. Produced bile starts its journey from the smallest bile ducts in the liver. These small bile ducts within the liver aggregate to form the larger bile ducts and eventually the main bile ducts.

The place where the journey of bile ends and its task begins is the duodenum, which is the continuation of the stomach. Bile ducts, together with the pancreatic duct, open to the duodenum and play an important role in digestion. The wastes it contains also reached the bowels and started to leave the body.

The gallbladder is a water drop-shaped sac located just adjacent to the liver. Its task is never, ever to produce bile. The gallbladder accumulates the excess bile produced by the liver. During the meal, it shrinks and sends the bile inside to the bile ducts and then to the duodenum.

What are Gallbladder and Tract Diseases?

The most common diseases are inflammation of the gallbladder due to stones (cholecystitis), obstruction of the biliary tract (obstructive jaundice),

and inflammation of the pancreas (pancreatitis). Unfortunately, cancers of the gallbladder and bile ducts are also very serious diseases that can occur. Cancers of this region are a wide range of diseases that require further investigation; In the next article, we will focus more on gallstones and their treatment.
