About Me
I am a European Board-certified Turkish specialist general surgeon and associate professor in General Surgery. I have 15 years of experience in General Surgery with nearly 6000 surgical cases. I studied medicine and General Surgery at the leading Universities of Turkıye in Ankara.
I have extensive experience in laparoscopic surgery, bariatric surgery, colorectal surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, endocrine surgery(with neuromonitorisation), benign anorectal surgery, minimally invasive hernia repair surgery, and breast surgery. I perform 300 to 350 operative procedures annually, including laparoscopic colon and rectum resections, laparoscopic anti-reflux surgery, laparoscopic hernia repair, laparoscopic gastric resections, bariatric surgery, oncologic surgery (cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC), breast surgery, abdominal emergency surgeries, total thyroidectomy for cancer or hyperthyroidism, central and cervical dissection for thyroid cancer, parathyroidectomy for primary or secondary hyperparathyroidism, and laparoscopic adrenalectomy for adrenal diseases. I am very familiar with using thyroid neuromonitorisation for better surgical outcomes and avoiding nerve injury.
I am a National and European board-certified general surgeon and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. I am also highly interested in research; I have studied and published both clinical and experimental scientific studies.
