Endocrine surgery includes thyroid (goiter) surgery, thyroidectomy for cancer or hyperthyroidism, central and cervical dissection for thyroid cancer, parathyroidectomy for primary or secondary hyperparathyroidism, and laparoscopic adrenalectomy (laparoscopy) for adrenal diseases. I am very familiar with using thyroid neuromonitorisation for better surgical outcomes in terms of avoiding nerve injury.
